6x14 Weekender Description:
A combined wood and equipment shed, the weekender design holds two cords of firewood and an enclosed partitioned area has enough storage room for yard toys, furniture and a lawn tractor. The frame for this little building is a rugged post and beam built with rough sawn hemlock and pine lumber. The Weekender is an attractive and practical building that we originally designed for second home owners enjoying their weekend retreat. Large five foot double doors access the enclosed 42 square feet of storage space. The separate compartment and wood storage area both have a heavy 2x6 floor frame that will handle your heaviest storage needs.
Rugged post and beam techniques passed down through the centuries are applied to pre cut and notch this kit into a sturdy picturesque out building reminiscent of old New England. It is built the same way they have been for centuries with native Vermont lumber.
The 6x14 Weekender is delivered curbside by common carrier. It is recommended to have helpers on hand to unload. Basic carpentry tools are required; the kit is geared to novice carpenters.
